Presentation Guidelines

Please carefully read the following guidelines before preparing your presentation.

E-POSTER PRESENTATION SPECIFICATIONS

General Specifications

  • File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT).
  • Total size of the presentation should not exceed 5 MB.
  • Only a Single Slide Presentation will be accepted.
  • Animation, movies and sounds will not be supported. Please submit the presentation in a static PPT format only.

Design Specifications

  • Each slide title should be placed in a title placeholder.
  • The text should include, most likely as separate elements of the poster: Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgements.
  • For a Case Report, the poster should include: Introduction, Case Report, Discussion and References.
  • The poster should be self-explanatory. Text should be brief and well organized.
  • It is suggested that the font size of the text should be at least 26 to 36 point. The typeface chosen should be simple and clear, such as Helvetica.
  • The correct font size depends greatly on the fonts used in the PPT. The thumb rule should be that if it is visible well on the computer screen, it shall be visible on the E-Poster Display Screen.

Color Suggestions

  • When using light backgrounds such as white, yellow or light blue, we suggest using dark fonts such as black, navy blue or dark green.
  • When using dark backgrounds such as blue or purple, we suggest using light fonts such as white, yellow or cyan.
  • Avoid using red or green in fonts or backgrounds as these colors can be difficult to read.
  • Illustrations, images and photographs used in the E-Poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details.

Please download the official PowerPoint template and prepare your E-Poster according to the specifications mentioned above. Once your presentation is ready, convert the PowerPoint file to PDF format. The final submission link will be provided separately. Please upload your PDF file only through the submission link, as the submission portal accepts PDF format only.

Free Paper Presentation Guidelines

Instructions for Free Paper Presentation

  • The file must be in the form of PowerPoint presentation (.PPT).
  • The maximum number of slides allowed is 8 slides excluding the title slide.
  • Each slide should contain no more than 7–8 lines.
  • Last date for submission of Free Paper Presentation: (Final Date here to be inserted)

The PowerPoint Presentation Should Include

  1. Presentation time should not exceed 6 minutes.
  2. First buzzer/bell will be at the end of the 5th minute.
  3. Your presentation screen will get off after 6 minutes.
  4. Discussion will be for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Strictly adhere to the allotted presentation time.
  6. Certificate for Free Paper Presentation will be given only if you present at the conference.
